Problems for Year 37 (2025–2026)

Round 3 problems have been released!

Round 3 is over, but still accepting extension submissions. The extended submission deadline is January 6, 2026 at 10 p.m. Eastern / 7 p.m. Pacific. All extension submissions must be done through our online submission portal.

Remember to read and follow the rules of the contest. In particular, remember to fully justify all of your answers. Do not just send numerical answers.

Templates

Note: Use of these templates is optional, but recommended.

For LaTeX: Use solutions.tex. Instructions for how to use the template are in the file. You will also need to download the USAMTS include file: usamts.tex. Put this file in the same folder that you put your solutions.
For handwritten: Print out and use the USAMTS solutions form. Remember to write your name, username, and user ID on every page, along with the round and problem numbers.

Submit

When you’ve finished writing and proofreading your solutions, log in or register to submit online. If you are mailing your solutions, address them to:
