Year 21 (2009-10) Prize Announcement

You can earn prizes based on your total score from all 4 rounds as follows:

89-100: Gold
75-88: Silver
60-74: Bronze
40-59: Honorable Mention

Prizes will be emailed and mailed to the addresses in your profile on the USAMTS website, so verify that your email and mailing addresses are correct. We will only mail books to US mailing addresses. Also, you must have submitted a current year entry form in order to receive a prize; the "My Profile" page will indicate if you still need to do this.

This year Wolfram Research is generously offering complimentary licenses of Mathematica for Students software to all Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Honorable Mention prize winners. This is in addition to the book prizes described below. All prize winners will receive further information and instructions for downloading the software via email in early May.

If you go to your scores page, you should see your prize level and the date on which you can select your book prize(s). These dates are:

Gold: Thursday, April 22
Silver: Monday, April 26
Bronze: Thursday, April 29
Honorable Mention: Monday, May 3

The above dates are the first date on which you can select book prizes, but you don't have to do so on that exact date. The deadline for selecting book prizes is June 1. Books will be mailed later in June.

Gold winners will get to select 3 books, Silver and Bronze winners will get to select 2 books, and Honorable Mentions will get to select 1 book. All winners will also receive a USAMTS T-shirt (you will be asked to specify your T-shirt size when you select your book(s)).
